Capleton "Good So" Album Review

a must-get!
Although I-Testament and The Prophecy have gone in excellent directions, i believe this is Capleto's best recording. He is lyrically concious on cold blooded murderer and he shows that he no longer a slackness dj.i feel the best song on this cd is Sign & Wonder. It is preachy, but yet, has one of the hardest beats i have heard in dancehall! Also check out:Good So, Prepare Your Coffin, and the big hit Buggaring. one of the best reggae cd's i own!

Cocoa Tea "Can't Stop Cocoa Tea" Album Review

his classic debut lp
The debut lp from Cocoa Tea suggested great things to come for this now legendaty 80's star.
Many of the tracks on this debut lp are condensed forms of dancehall favorites, such as "I Lost my Sonja," "Rockin'Dolly," "Evening Time," and the title track. Too bad Tea's first major dancehall blowout, the classic "Searching in the Hills," wasn't somehow put on this lp (maybe it will on a re-issue at some point), but no matter.
This lp is a dancehall legend, and asserted Cocoa Tea into the pantheon of greats, where he still resides. Great effort.

Israel Vibration "Fighting Soldiers" Album Review

ISRAEL VIBRATION...STILL STRONG
THIS IS ISRAEL VIBRATION'S THIRD STUDIO ALBUM SINCE THE DEPARTURE OF ALBERT "APPLE" CRAIG. THIS IS YET ANOTHER GREAT ALBUM BY THEM. REMAINING CONSISTENT WITH THEIR ROOTS STYLE AND SMOOTH HARMONIES, THEY HIT YOU WITH GREAT TRACKS LIKE "UNSEEN BULLET," WITH IT'S NYAHBINGHI STYLE RHYTHM, "LEVEL EVERY ANGLE", "JAH RUNNINGS," WITH ITS SKA RHYTHM, AND "SODOM AND GOMARRAH," THOUGH EVERY TRACK IS WORTH A LISTEN. THERE IS NO NEED TO SKIP ANY TRACKS ON THIS ALBUM. PICK UP "FIGHTING SOLDIERS", IT'S SURE TO SATISFY JUST LIKE THE REST OF ISRAEL VIBRATION'S RELEASES.

Bob Marley "Uprising" Album Review

All I ever have...
This is the last album released in Bob Marley's lifetime. It is amazing, just like everything else he recorded and released. Don't pass on this. Bob is the king.
